1. Highly strong nonwoven fabric
A three dimensional structure achieved by needle punching. All the specifications including tensile strength, elongation, effective pore sizes(AOS) and horizontal drainage performance exceed the international standards.
General single fiber nonwoven fabric used in Korea does not provide sufficient tensile strength. Our company’ s IFP and FILTERM MAT products provide the great results even at an elongation rate of 50% or less.

A wide width strip method is used as the standard for quality management. The data of elongation is maintained below 50%. The test results according to the world standard are reflected in our products.
The IFP and the FILTERM MAT allows you to replace the sand mat installed for horizontal drainage on a weak ground with general soils. No problems with material supply. The construction period is reduced and the quality of construction is improved. As a result, the construction work is not much more economical.

2. General nonwoven fabric product
Manufactured by needle punching. Generally used in Korea.
Its strength per unit weigh is lower than the IFP or FILTERM MAT. *If used to prevent entry of fine soil particles into the pipes and drainage pebbles, it can offer great performance.
The cost is lower than the IFP or FILTERM MAT. However, you should fully consider its functions in terms of weight, strength, and elongation.

Permanently durable. Excellent filtering function in the soil layer.
Excellent drainage and filtering function.
Adequate flexibility and integration.
Cheaper than natural materials such as sands or pebbles.
No deformation.

1. Preventing the riverside from sinking
The soils composing the riverside are quite unstable due to the piping and washing effect of the water. You can use the IAN FILTER MAT to protect the riverside from washing and erosion and to remove excessive water pressure and loss of soils.

3. Buffering effect in a landfill or artificial lake
When nonwoven fabric is installed in a landfill, it can protect the waterproof sheet or layer from damages caused by drainage in the lower area or sharp objects.

4. Drainage buffer in a tunnel
When nonwoven fabric is installed in a landfill, it can protect the waterproof sheet or layer from damages caused by drainage in the lower area or sharp objects.

5. Roads and railroads
The road constructed by the existing method becomes vulnerable when the pebbles installed under the surface sink lower to get mixed with the weak soil as the traffic load increases and vibrations occur. The effective thickness of the pebble layer is thinner and thinner. As a result, the supporting power is weakened and the road is cracked and sunken.
The IAN FILTER MAT can reduce the thickness of pebbles down to 30 to 50%. It is very economical. Installed between the original soil and the pebble layer, it prevents pebbles from being worn out and getting mixed with the original soil. Also, it supports horizontal drainage to extend the lifetime of a railroad or road. The repair and maintenance cost is greatly reduced and the safety is promoted.

6. Separation function
The IAN FILTER MAT provides excellent strength and elongation for construction of roads, railroads and complexes. It prevents pebbles from being mixed with other soil layers.

7. Application to a weak ground
When the existing method is used to improve a weak ground, in order to reduce the amount of water contained, a drainage layer made of pebbles or sands should be installed. You can replace this drainage layer with the IAN FILTER MAT. Save the construction costs and reduce the construction period with it. In addition, it shows excellent ability for construction of weak grounds. It is a great substitute for natural materials such as sands and pebbles which are becoming increasingly scarce.
